What can you say, always gladly. Sweet hermitage with great FOOD.
Very good ? ?
Remarkably good cuisine in a completely pleasant environment. In this restaurant, both the location and the concept are unusual in the most positive sense. Food and wine are moderated personally and in a refreshingly shirt-sleeved manner by the host, the atmosphere is downright familiar. A top tip!
Something is happening
Jan Möllmann's Siedlerklause is actually no longer an insider tip, but you are still surprised that there are still people who are interested in culinary art who have not been here before. Because both the food, the wines and the service are sensational. And every time, at a more than fair price! For me the best restaurant by far not only in Dortmund, but far beyond.
The food and wine were great. However, the toilet paper was missing and there was no nightcap either. Too bad about the price. Belongs to good food for me.
From the outside you cannot see what awaits you inside: great food with selected wines and personal accompaniment through the individual courses by Mr. Möllmann. Different from 0815 gastronomy ..... but: different good As the press wrote: Insider tip in Brechte
Excellent, individual culinary art that you can treat yourself to here at Koch Jan, a should!
A special place that stands out from other restaurants due to its ambience and the chef Jan Möllmann. If you are looking for a really good kitchen, this is the place for you
At Jan Möllmann, you can be sure to be spoiled with food as well as with wine, for which he has a great hand. during a visit we had our son (then 2 years) with it, he still raves about the made for him potato porridge.
Jan's Siedlerklause is a really fantastic insider tip. It lies hidden in Brechtser residential area and looks from the outside like an old pub. To spend an evening here, a table must be reserved beforehand. The Klause is not a normal restaurant. From 6 people makes Jan for you, there are also so-called blackheads appointments where reservations are already available and you can also join with 2 people. As a rule, it is often fully booked and you should make an appointment early. A call is enough. When you come in you will be totally surprised by the rustic atmosphere, beautifully set tables and a warm welcome by the host and his great service staff, who are waiting with a glass of champagne in hand. Then there is a creative greeting from the kitchen and you are asked to table. You are looking for a menu here in vain. The concept is a surprise menu. For each course, Jan always presents the appropriate wines and tells what the next gear. Here you do not just eat, here you book a culinary experience. Allergy sufferers and vegetarians will be considered, but you should say at the reservation. Soft drinks are also available, Fanta and Coke are looking for but here in vain. Conclusion A highly recommended culinary trip in a great atmosphere with wonderful service.
Super
Been there twice. Super delicious and great atmosphere. Always my pleasure!
Sure, you can find out more on the Internet beforehand. So it sounds strange when I say I was really pleasantly surprised. But I was really surprised about a very nice evening with friends and a really very service-oriented team, who did everything to make it a successful evening for us.
Super delicious food. Recommendable.
Perfect food, great atmosphere and brilliant chef! I'll be back.
For a review of the "Siedlerklause" you have to say a few more words than has been done here so far. At least I think so I'm going to get started. The concept of owner and cook Jan Möllmann is a "surprise menu", which he puts together according to seasonal availability. So all guests are served an identical sequence of dishes and every evening is a unique and exciting happening: guests, dishes, wines - you know roughly what you are getting into, but not exactly what you will get. On "our" evening we were about 25 guests, who got to know each other a bit for an aperitif and hors d'oeuvre before we sat down and waited for the menu. Each course was presented by Mr. Möllmann, who has a little story ready for it and the wine he chose. Then we were served by the friendly service staff, who always made sure that there was always enough wine and water available. We found all the dishes and the accompanying wines to be very harmonious and had an excellent evening in the Siedlerklause, which we will be happy to visit again when the opportunity arises.
Well suited for celebrations
Very good food the service is second to none!
